Sports Academies
Our Sports Academies give you the chance to pursue your sporting ambition while completing a full-time qualification.
Being part of one of our sports academies gives you a minimum of 10 hours training per week from experienced coaches, as if you are part of a semi-professional club. With our affiliations with local and national clubs, you will have exposure to physios, coaches and other industry professionals, as well as exclusive access to our private strengthening and conditioning gym.
To be eligible to be part of a Sports Academy, you must:
- Be aged 16, 17 or 18 when your course starts
- Be enrolled on a full-time course
To join our Football Academies, you must enrol on a Sports & Fitness course; you can be studying any full-time course to join the Basketball and Boxing Academies - Attend and pass trials

Our Sports Academies
Our Basketball Academy Programme aims to nurture and develop the sporting talents of aspiring athletes. Our aim is to develop well-rounded athletes in terms of skills, fitness, experience, knowledge and understanding. We will provide you with the tools to progress your career in basketball in the Uk and overseas and will help you obtain a recognised qualification to facilitate your progression.
As a student-athlete on our Basketball Academy programme you will have access to the following:
- Professional coaching by qualified and experienced coaches
- 10 hours of coaching and matches per week
- Team and individual positional training sessions
- Basketball-specific fitness sessions
- High-level league and cup competitions
- Participation in Uk and International tournaments
- Strength and conditioning gym programme developed for each individual player
- Nutrition plan and guidance
- Access to fully qualified physiotherapists and sports masseuses
- Training and match kit
In addition, there will be other opportunities available to players on this programme, such as:
- End-of-season international tour
- Team & Individual photos
- Individual player game stats
- USA & UK Scholarships opportunities
- Trips to BBL league games and finals
- Opportunities to gain additional qualifications i.e. table officiating
- Support with highlight reels
- Assistance with SAT preparation
- Partnership with men鈥檚 teams with progression opportunities
- One -to-one mentoring drop-in sessions
Basketball Academy Trial Dates
Our Boxing Academy is a unique programme, designed to develop your skills in a range of boxing-related areas. Whether your goal is to compete, coach, or run your own boxing club, our programme will provide you with endless opportunities in the world of boxing.
As a student-athlete in our Boxing Academy programme, you will have access to the following:
- Professional coaching by experienced and qualified national coaches
- 2 hour training sessions x 4 a week
- Boxing medical assessment and license
- Strength and conditioning gym programme developed for each individual
- Nutrition plan and guidance
- Accesses to fully qualified physiotherapist and sports masseuse
- Training and competition kit
In addition, there will be other opportunities available to individuals on this programme, such as:
- A wealth of additional qualifications including Level 1 & Level 2 Coaching Certificates, Sports Leaders UK Award, England Boxing Judges Award
- Opportunities to spar against other clubs across London
- Opportunities to compete against other colleges in BOX cups
- Participation in World Series Boxing events across the capital with boxers from Team GB including Commonwealth Gold Medal winner and Rio 2016 hopeful Joe Joyce
- Tickets to World Series Boxing fights
- Trips including visits to Sheffield鈥檚 Institute of Sport, the home of England Boxing
- Work experience coaching boxing in the community and in local schools
- Club and Individual photos
Our Men’s Football Academy is a football education development programme that aims to develop your footballing and academic skills, providing opportunities for progression into semi-professional and professional systems whilst giving you the knowledge and qualifications necessary to succeed.
As a student-athlete in our Football Academy programme, you will have access to the following:
- Professional coaching by FA-qualified coaches
- 2-hour training sessions x 3 a week plus matches
- Excellent training and match day facilities
- Strength and conditioning gym programme developed for each individual player
- Nutrition plan and guidance
- Fitness assessments conducted 3 times throughout the season.
- Access to fully qualified physiotherapists and sports masseuses
- Training and match day kit
You will compete in a variety of high-level national competitions including:
- Participation in the football leagues, such as Football Conference Youth Alliance League (1st squad only), Southern Counties Youth Alliance Floodlit league (1st squad only), British Colleges Schools League Division (2nd squad only)
- Participation in Cup competitions, such as the FA Youth Cup (1st team squad only), the FCYAL Youth Cup ( 1st squad only), the SCYAL Youth Cup, and the British Colleges’ Youth Cup
In addition, there will be other opportunities available to players on this programme, such as:
- Friendly showcase matches throughout the season against professional youth academies
- Partnerships with semi-professional clubs London Tigers FC and Kensington Dragons FC, which includes the chance to progress into their 1st team set-up
- End-of-season international tour to the Benhavis Cup (Marbella) and Gothia Cup (Sweden)

Art Football are delighted to once again be leading our Women’s Football Academy Programme. This is an exciting step up to being a student athlete that will allow you to develop academically with 成人电影 and as a footballer with Art Football. This wonderful opportunity just got even better as we are delighted to have secured a partnership with Hounslow Women FC (FAWNL) to have exclusive access to their National Reserve team.
This is a rare opportunity in London or anywhere in the country with only 44 teams participating nationwide it will be a unique chance for you and your teammates to test your academy experience against teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Watford and MK Dons to name a few.
You will benefit from:
- Strength and Conditioning – Programme will be delivered based on entry testing
- Physio – A selected day will be arranged to provide treatment with a qualified physio team
- Training days – 3 days (2 hour sessions)
- Match Day – Weekday 2pm (Wednesday)
- Transport – Will be provided to all away match days and 1 training session per week
